Personality Information

Personality: Kind of dog-like in that she's very sweet, loving, excitable, robust, and not afraid of rough-housing. She can be a little hard to read with the strange body language. Doesn't really 'get' the whole personal space deal. Very loyal, it takes a lot to really drive her away. She gets really giddy, especially when doing things she was never allowed to in the two-leg nest.
Strengths: Can meow pretty damn loud.
Flaws: Not very good at anything due to lack of instruction.
Ambitions: Raise the kits and be useful in the clan.
Worries: That she'll be too weak to fight, or too loud to hunt.
Trivia: She can speak quite fluently to dogs, having been raised by one.

History

Kittypet
Kitty, ironically, was not very cat-like for much of her kithood. She never knew her father, and was separated from her mother at about seven weeks old, without ever really being socialized as a cat. At her new home, she was shut inside. The two-legs already had a dog, a large male poodle who was very gentle to the kit... She came to consider him her dad. After a while, she began picking up more on his communication and mannerisms over the cat ones she had. The two-legs were considering maybe breeding her later on, figuring it wouldn't be too much of a problem if they kept her shut indoors. But unfortunately, the wow-factor of a new kitten wore off after a while, and the playing slowed down. She was no longer the center of attention. She began to bore, but the house was her entire world. Occasionally, her cousin Bibi would be brought over for visits.
 One day, when she was ten moons old, as her two-legs were trying to move a sofa into the house, Kitty escaped under their feet, out the front door. She promised she would come back - not that they could know - and ran off into town, and out into the desert. The mountains ahead had always intrigued her, and they didn't look too far away, so she figured she would just pop over there and come back. Unfortunately, since the desert is flat, they were a lot farther away than they looked. After hours of walking with no water, she collapsed, exhausted. Luckily, it was only a couple more hours until a trio of ScrapClan apprentices - Lighterpaw, Scorpionpaw, and Venompaw - came her way. Lighterpaw carried her to a stream near the mountain, and after hearing her story, the three agreed to bring her home. They walked the desert with her, and she found her dad's scent trail, and followed it to the house. It seemed the four were parting ways, but Lighterpaw came back while their siblings were exploring. The two had a long talk, and she quickly grew very fond of the patchy apprentice. But, seemingly too soon, their siblings returned and the three of them went home, leaving Kitty to question her decision to come back.
 It was a nice few moons with her dad, despite the lingering doubts that the house was her place. The good times were cut short not long after she'd reached twelve moons. The two-legs decided that they would try breeding her, and brought a tom into the house, waiting passively for them to eventually mate. Kitty hated him. He tried too hard, got too close, and when she rejected him, he tried to impress her by doing unimpressive stunts. While her dad was home, he'd chase the other cat away from her. But when he was on walks, Kitty would go into rooms and shut the door behind her. Once she wasn't found and spent a whole day locked in the closet. She was pleading StarClan, which she had heard vague details about, to somehow rescue her, and eventually, those pleas were met.
 Lighterfluid, newly named a warrior and having some troubles at home, had run away, and decided to go back to see Kitty. When she heard them calling from outside, they began meeting at the bathroom window every time her dad went for a walk. The window was usually open there, and it was an easy sill to perch on. While there, Kitty eventually happened to latch her claws on the screen, and realized she could tear it open. Soon, she and Lighterfluid were on the bathroom floor, conceiving a litter as mates. The two-legs returned, and panicked when they saw Lighterfluid, their alopecia giving them a vaguely non-catlike, mangy appearance. They managed to capture the warrior, and took them to the cutter, where they were neutered and immunized before getting sent to an animal shelter.
 Kitty was shut inside, now with the bathroom door closed. She talked with her dad, and established she wasn't happy there anymore, and that though she'd miss him, the next time she got a chance to get out, she would. She got even more desperate when she realized she was pregnant, and with her dad's help, she got out. She spent a long time looking, but was pointed in the direction of the animal shelter by some loners (She's never seen a brick wall before). She jumped into a dog pen, went through the dog door, and thanks to her upbringing, could talk to the dog. Together, they figured out latches and doors, and ultimately freed Lighterfluid and the other cats that had been caged in the same room, including Benvolio and Deepwhisper.
Queen
 Kitty and Lighterfluid found a nice place to hide in the city with their newborn kits, Sawyerkit and Phoebekit, until they made their way back to ScrapClan. They dropped by to see her dad before taking the long journey through the desert. When they got to ScrapClan, the fist cat they met was hostile, but it turned out Monsterprick just didn't recognize his sibling; Lighterfluid had grown a full pelt thanks to their treatments at the vet. She met the family and the leader and was not turned away, so she and the kits settled in the clan's nursery.
 Other queens soon joined with their own kits; Scorpiongaze, Whitewing, and Rabbitfoot. Palethroat, Lighterfluid's father, expressed discomfort at Kitty's collar, so she let him help her remove it. It became a plaything for her kits, who loved to play tug-of-war with it. They were loud kits, sometimes pestering the other cats, and Sawyerkit always wanted to play. Between that and adjusting to the new life, Kitty didn't get much sleep. She also wondered about what she would do when it came time for the kits to be apprentices...
 She realized she still had a long way to go one day when Venomscratch got wounded by a fox. He was returned by a BearClan warrior, and a cat on the other side of the vendetta that threatened her new family. The warrior seemed nice, but Lighterfluid and the others were wary of him. Kitty was left out of much of this discussion, tasked with keeping the kits out of it. Sandstrike, another cat Lighterfluid wasn't fond of and father of some of the other kits, helped her watch Sawyerkit, who was playing with Softkit. They all sang songs. Sawyerkit could be handful, but it was Phoebekit she was worried about, after catching her bullying Longkit. She put her in time-out and hoped it was a one-time thing, but it wasn't.
 Unexpectedly, a BearClan patrol brought her cousin Bibi to see her. While the kittypet was disgusted with the camp and expected Lighterfluid to be uglier based on the description from when they had a hair-loss issue, the two were happy to be reunited. Bibi wasn't yet strong enough to go home, but opted to rest in BearClan.
 Phoebekit chased Longkit all the way to neutral territory and up the gathering tree. He fell and broke some bones, but was thankfully rescued. Kitty was very distraught at the damage caused to the kit, especially since her own daughter was to blame. She grounded Phoebekit, but soon had her and Sawyerkit out of the nest to get a check-up. They were to return once it was done, but they didn't; Longkit had asked them to go to the edge of camp to look for something, and they had been abducted by Camas and Lotus. They were hostages for the feud fight, but the rogues were known to have killed and tortured many. Kitty had a panic attack, but forced herself to focus. Shredshadow told her about the kill bite, and that was the only information on fighting she had going into the battle.
 Kitty and Lighterfluid went right for their kits once they were at Moonpeak. They looked cold, tired, distressed, and Sawyerkit yelled about stuff they were doing, so he was the first one kicked towards Kitty when they ran to take them back. She caught him and checked him for wounds, and soon, Phoebekit was punted towards her as well. She defended her babies while Lighterfluid fought the rogues, soon joined by Palethroat. While she wanted to leave with the kits, she was afraid to go alone. Soon, Scorpiongaze was by her side to defend the kits, but had to go downhill to check on Shredshadow. While she was down there, she called up to Kitty to check the scene. She saw Monsterprick and Sandpiperpaw dead, and soon, Eelfin. The battle diffused with Goldensequoia and Venomscratch's pregnancy announcement, and work by fighters and BearClan to break it up. She helped carry the kits home.
 Once home, Sawyerkit immediately cried out to the rest of the nursery that the three were dead. Kitty did her best to comfort Eelfin's crying daughter Boakit, but soon passed her to her remaining mother. Her son soon latched onto his friend Softkit, but Phoebekit started shouting at Longkit, blaming him for her capture. Not believing a three-moon-old kit would have done such a thing, Kitty tried to quiet her daughter, but couldn't prevent all of the glares she would send the other kit's way. After talking to the kits about what happened while they were up there, she grew worried about the effects it may have on them. Sawyerkit was quieter for a while.
 A few other kits were murdered, and Stingerkit ran away, so Kitty watched out for the other kits a lot more. Stinger was taken by two-legs, leaving Scorpiongaze helpless to retrieve them. Venomscratch had left for BearClan to be with his mate and new kits, Honeykit and Oriolekit. Kitty was very anxious about her kits becoming apprentices, and easily decided that she would do the same.
Apprentice
 Dewstar named her Knotpaw, and allowed her to be Lighterfluid's apprentice thanks to Lighterfluid's ancestor getting Dewstar to give them everything they want. Sawyerpaw was apprenticed to his aunt Weepingpoison, and Phoebepaw to a warrior named Liontooth. Knotpaw set up her nest near to theirs, wanting to keep an eye on them. After the elder's den collapsed, Skink-kit was injured and Longkit ran away from the clan. Sawyerpaw and Phoebepaw went to find him in DampClan, and got frightened by catching sight of Lotus and Camas.
 Sawyerpaw got into his first rogue fight pretty early on, Darkscar and Smiles attacking a patrol he was on. Weepingpoison was killed, and he got his friend's mother Whitewing as a mentor after. Diamondfall also died, which was relieving to the family. Knotpaw went with the family to tell the news to Venomscratch, see his kits, and say hi to Bibi, who was still in BearClan. Stinger returned, and joined the other apprentices. Rustytalon explained the start of the vendetta.
 It grew increasingly apparent that Phoebepaw was upset about her social situation. Knotpaw did her best to include and comfort her daughter, but knew it was up to her and the other kids to make amends. Sawyerpaw was pretty popular among his peers, and grew less dependent on his family. Knotpaw felt like she was in an awkward position in the clan, where she was both an apprentice and an adult, not fitting in with the warriors or her denmates. They even built a fort to have a space where she wasn't included, which wouldn't have offended her if she knew.
 Oriolekit was kidnapped, which scared the family, but thankfully he was alright. There was a lot going on with the afterlives and clan allegiances, but Knotpaw didn't realize how big of a deal it was at the time. Sawyerpaw and Softpaw were attacked by Smiles, a loner they fought early on in apprenticeship. She was mad about the miscarriages that possibly resulted from their fight, and sent her remaining kit to attack them. With no warriors nearby, the two were injured, but were saved. Knotpaw and the other parents were worried, but this time they seemed to be taking more comfort in each other, and started dating.
