in elementary school I did a project on pikas and made an OC to match
the only thing changed from the original design is that the anatomy is more realistic and the fur isn't solid colour, instead being more realistic to the ref picture I used; www.alexmody.com/images/large/…

his only purpose to the story itself was to explain to the readers that in this society of animals there exists a segregation between species based on the food chain. because the carnivores/omnivores would eat them. so the herbivores made their own economy, I guess. the story is more set around cats/dogs/foxes/owls and such at the start with some bats/pika/beaver thrown in but grows to have more wolves/tigers/dragons as the main characters move to ones with magic abilities and deities.
